I hope that you will be calling on conservatives, as well as your fellow libertarians, to stop smearing modest income redistribution policies, such as the minimum wage, with the label "socialism".</description>

Unfortunately the reasons for the bumbling and inept response to Katrina (for instance) have little to do with the kind of variance found in the preferred public policy of any major candidate. Nobody is pushing a plan to abolish FEMA, most especially the public.</description>

If I read that bad government exacerbated a disaster in the United States, I have a number of responses, starting with my vote.  If I read that bad government exacerbated a disaster in Burma, that has very little to do with my response.</description>
